Following eighteen months of stringent testing via the British Board of Agrément (BBA), the ExpressFixx PV mounting system from REDtip™ has regained its MCS 012 accreditation for pitched roof installation kits.
The ExpressFixx system was an early adopter of MCS 012 when it launched in 2012, being one of the first few hundred companies to receive accreditation. However, a company acquisition a few years later saw the accreditation lost during the handover period.
The required accreditation will support REDtip™ significantly, and provide reassurance to installers that the system has been adequately tested for resistance to wind uplift, fire performance and safety, and long-term weather tightness.
Combining REDtip™ ExpressRail with one of three REDtip™ roof hooks, ExpressFixx is specifically designed for tile and slate pitched roof installations.
