JCP IS A MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN CONSORTIUM OF ANCHOR PRODUCERS
A small group of small and medium-sized European producers, the members join forces in a 100% financed consortium to influence the standardisation of their products.
The products include mechanical, chemical and plastic anchors, powder actuated tools and their components, concrete and wood screws and 30 nailing plates.
ANCHOR CALCULATION PROGRAM
The JCP Anchor Calculation Program (ACP) is free to download.
It provides solutions for anchoring into both cracked and non-cracked concrete. The tool is designed for engineers, specifiers and architects to simplify specifying connections to surfaces such as floors, ceilings and walls, and takes into account loadings, spacing and edge distances. It includes 3D graphics, along with hole depth optimisation for chemical anchors.
Developed by our Technical Department, the JCP Anchor Specification Program includes a rebar calculator. The two programs together, the ACP and Rebar calculator offer choice as to which one works best for the project being worked on.
It has the facility to calculate numerous configurations of fixings in different base plate geometry. Calculations are carried out in accordance with the current European Guide EOTA TR 029 for bonded anchors and EOTA ETAG-001 ANNEX C for mechanical anchors. The software and database are updated regularly to ensure the program is compliant with any changes in legislation or industry standards.
