JRP blind rivet nuts will meet the needs of the most demanding sheet metal fastening requirements.
New from Owlett-Jaton, they are perfect for use within multiple industries where sheet metal components need to be joined reliably and efficiently. Underpinned by quality and technical support, the JRP range is produced from durable, high-quality materials and designed with manufacturing in mind.
A blind rivet nut is a one-piece internally threaded, and counterbored tubular rivet used to create highly durable threads, particularly in thin materials where only one side is accessible. As they can be installed in seconds, they produce huge labour-saving costs compared to traditional assembly techniques.
The JRP rivet nut range incorporates round knurled, and hexagon bodies. Round knurled assists with anti-rotation, whilst hexagon bodies offer the ultimate in high torque resistance. Both body types are available in open and closed-end versions with flat, countersunk and reduced head styles.
With pressure on manufacturing processes to produce lighter and stronger goods, rivet nuts, especially in A4 Stainless Steel, are an ideal choice to create threads in the growing carbon fibre and composite material market sectors.
Rivet nuts are used in a variety of industries including agriculture, fencing, white goods, electrical enclosures, indoor and outdoor electronic signs, automotive, aerospace, rail, HVAC and general engineering. They are used for thin metal sheet/profiles where thread forming is not possible, as well as thick profiles that are too hard for thread forming.
Rivet nuts can be used in box sections or enclosed applications where there is restricted access. Acting as a blind rivet, they are also used to clinch separate sheets together. They are perfect for use in composite or plastic materials where thread forming is impossible and can also be used for on-site repairs to damaged or stripped threads when products are disassembled and reassembled.
The JRP rivet nut range is available in Steel, A2 Stainless Steel, A4 Stainless Steel and Aluminium. All available from stock.
