JCP, the specialist fixing division of Owlett-Jaton, has launched its 2022 catalogue exclusively for distributors.

The catalogue includes a whole host of new additions, including

• 3-metre fixing bands (round perforated and straight perforated)
• A range of stop drill bits (available April 2022)
• Additions to the ETA Ankerbolts range (available June 2022)
• HSS long shank drill bits

JCP Construction Products, the specialist fixings division of Owlett-Jaton, have appointed a new Area Sales Manager.

Daniel Jennings will be joining the team covering the North of England in the New Year. Having worked within Owlett-Jaton for over eight years, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the role and will be able to hit the ground running.

As a specialist fixings supplier, JCP offers an exceptional level of technical support. In a bid to support our distributor customers further, a suite of installation videos has been developed.

The ‘how-to’ animations show step-by-step instructions on how to install some of the most popular JCP fixings, with easy-to-follow visuals providing an insight into the application of each product.

JCP have continued to grow their range with the addition of 36 new stainless steel lines. Introducing new products to the range underlines JCP’s commitment to mirroring the ever-changing demands of the construction industry, and ultimately the needs of its customers.

The new catalogue is bigger and better than ever before, with dedicated pages for new and certified products. There is also an updated and refreshed design.

‘Great oaks from little acorns grow’. Most, if not all of us have heard of this expression, before. There are several variants, but they all originate from as far back as the mid-fourteenth century and share the same meaning - that for anything new to become big and successful, must first start small. This is a true reflection of JCP Fixings, the specialist fixings division of Owlett-Jaton, which has grown to become one of the largest fixing’s brands in the UK today, and celebrates twenty years this year.

After nearly two decades with JCP, Technical Manager Brian Deluce is retiring. Although he has only been with JCP for 19 years, he’s actually been in the industry a lot longer. Having spent his entire career in the fixings industry, Brian joined JCP, from Ramset Fasteners, just six months after launch in 2001.

The JCP range includes a variety of nylon and plastic fixings including the recently launched Premium Nylon Wall Plug.  Since its introduction to the range, it has grown significantly in popularity across multiple market sectors.

When identifying the right product for an application there can often be a vast amount of options and considerations to be evaluated, and it is no different when considering injection resins. Used as a chemical anchor for installing threaded studs, rebar, or internally threaded sockets for structural applications, injection resins are commonly used in both new build and repair projects.

The market-leading Rosett fixing from JCP is a plasterboard fixing designed to be used where fixing into a cavity is required and to withstand heavy loads in both domestic and commercial buildings.
