With a history reaching back to the late 19th century, this architectural ironmonger has been around longer than most. The products they sell may have changed considerably over the years, but their commitment to providing the very best customer service remains the same. Today, they boast a purpose-built display centre, which enables their customers to select from a wide range of products.

Owlett-Jaton’s Area Sales Manager, Paul Johnstone, worked closely with their buyer and Profit Centre Manager, clearly demonstrating the advantages of becoming a Unifix stockist. The staff were impressed - the vast range of products to choose from, coupled with the striking packaging, as well as the support throughout the process. The three worked closely together; the entire range was considered, and amongst them, they tailored a bespoke range of products which best suited the centre.

Owlett-Jaton offers a stock-cleansing service, which removed the issue of how the centre would convert from their existing supplier’s branded stock to Unifix. Owlett-Jaton merchandising representatives kitted the store with Unifix branded merchandisers, which was extended, to thirty-one metres. As part of the service offering, the representatives then undertook stocking the merchandisers with Unifix trade and retail bags, which included Vortex woodscrews, Thunderbolt anchors, and a wide selection of JCP Fixings.

To date, the partnership has been very successful; and the customer is keen to further extend their portfolio by introducing a range of Unifix branded ironmongery, as well as the all-new JRP rivets.

The combinations to the Unifix range are borderline endless. Customers can change their offering to adapt to their customer’s needs - just as this architectural ironmonger has been doing since their beginnings in the 19th century.
