Established in 1963, Unifix is 60 years old and is celebrating its diamond anniversary.

Continuing 2022’s achievement of Owlett-Jaton celebrating 75 years in business, it’s another exciting and proud milestone for the business to reach.

Over the last 60 years, Unifix has developed into a strong and recognised brand that has been embraced by the market, trusted by merchants, distributors, and tradesmen alike, servicing a wide variety of trades. This brand growth was accelerated following the acquisition of Unifix by Owlett-Jaton in 2012.

We are excited to announce the launch of our JRP Retail range. Comprising the most popular rivet lines in smaller bagged quantities, the new range is ideal for in-store merchandising and small usage requirements. 

The range includes seven types of open blind rivets, including dome head, dome head multigrip, large flange head and dome head JRP-lock structural rivets in a choice of materials, including aluminium, steel and stainless steel. In addition, the recently launched large flange head open blind rivets in RAL 9005 Black are also available in the retail range. 

The new lines promise to be a riveting success!

Merchants see nominal growth (+1.4%) in November, with falling volumes (-13.6%) and climbing prices (+17.3%)

The latest Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI) report reveals that builders’ merchants’ value sales were up +1.4% in November 2022 compared to the same month in 2021. This was inflation-led growth as volume sales tumbled -13.6% while prices climbed +17.3%.
